Weather
Met Éireann forecasts that wet and windy weather will spread from the west to the rest of the country by early afternoon. A yellow weather warning is in place for all Atlantic coastal counties as strong south winds are expected to strengthen to around 60km/h later this morning, with gusts of up to 90-100km/h. The warning is in place until 6pm from Kerry to Leitrim and 9pm for Donegal.
Highest temperatures will range from 16°C to 18°C.

Rain and wind will ease later in the day, except in the north and northwest, where southwest gales are expected to continue into the night. Temperatures will drop from 7°C to 11°C overnight as clear spells develop.
