Today will be mostly cloudy with some scattered outbreaks of rain, likely to turn persistent and heavy in the east and spreading westwards later in the day, according to Met Éireann. Temperatures will reach 9°C to 13°C.

Tonight will continue to be mostly cloudy with further outbreaks of rain. Lowest temperatures of 4°C to 6°C but temperatures may fall further in the south.
