Kerry Group has announced that its milk price will remain unchanged for August, at 30.36c/l, excluding VAT.
Last month, it increased its milk price by 1c/l for July supplies to 30.36c/l, excluding VAT.
The processor has also confirmed that it is importing grass and wholecrop from the UK for its suppliers, with 28t loads being delivered directly to farmers who need it.
To date 1,500t have been imported, with the processor assuring suppliers that imports are ongoing to meet demand.
Lakeland
Lakeland Dairies has held its base price for August milk at 31.10c/l, excluding VAT.
"While milk powder prices have improved, butter prices have weakened significantly in the past month," the co-op said in a statement this Tuesday.
It also launched a fodder survey to gauge the needs of its suppliers.
Glanbia
Glanbia Ireland has increased its base milk price for August, but ended the 1c/l Glanbia Co-op support.
Its manufacturing price at 3.6% fat and 3.3% protein now stands at 30.4c/l, excluding VAT, up 1c/l on July's level.
Glanbia chair Martin Keane said: “The market outlook remains cautious. The level of milk supply from the main exporting regions will be a key factor determining the price outlook over the coming months.”
