The new general manager of Pöttinger Ireland, Diarmuid Claridge, will start on 1 January next year. Pöttinger started selling machinery in Ireland 30 years ago and established a subsidiary in Clonmel, Co Tipperary, in 2012.
“Together with my team, we will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with the dealer network and its growing customer base, and extending the service and support network throughout the country,” Claridge said on his plans for the role. “I see great potential in our wide product range, in grassland, tillage and seed drill technology sector. These are machines that are built to meet the high demands of today’s agricultural businesses.”
Michael Noonan, who was head of back office with Pöttinger Ireland since 2012, retired in July this year.
