The following six property sales are where the big money changed hands. The sales are a mix of residential and non-residental from right acorss country.

These six sales were farms made up of a combined 400 acres and totalled some €9.1m.

  • In July, a 135-acre residential farm at Renville House, Oranmore, Co Galway, made €3.2m or €23,700/acre.

  • In November, a 53.2acre non-residential at Carnalway, Kilcullen, made €1m or €18,800/acre.

  • In September, a 135-acre residential at Park South and Cahermone, on the outskirts of Midleton, sold for €2.29m or €17,000/acre.

  • In June, an 81.3 acre non-residential farm at Ballydaniel, Camolin, Co Wexford, made €1.36m or €16,700/acre.

  • In November, a 41.3-acre non-residential at Lowergrange, Goresbridge, Co Kilkenny, sold for €685,000 or €16,600/acre.

  • In December, a 35-acre non-residential at Killaloan, Clonmel, made €580,000 or €16,570/acre.
