A total of 93 applications have been shortlisted under the GLAS traditional farm building grant. The closing date for the scheme was 18 November 2016.

“Grant offers will issue to the successful applicants by mid-May,” Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed said in response to a parliamentary question from Brendan Griffin. “I plan to open a further tranche of this very successful scheme later this year for applications for works to be undertaken in 2018.”

The scheme is administered by The Heritage Council on behalf of the Department of Agriculture.
