The High Court has ruled that Portumna Mart was owed hundreds of thousands of euro after a buyer failed to pay for livestock in Co Galway. The dealer has appealed the decision.
Early on Monday, Datamars Agri became the third supplier to get approval to sell tags in Ireland. Datamars joins Mullinahone Co-op and Cormac Tagging.
Glanbia has opened the chequebook again. The dairy giant spent €181m on two companies.
