The Dealer has a bone to pick. After trawling through the 20 most-read articles of the past 12 months, it appears that not a single one of my literary efforts has made it into the top articles on farmersjournal.ie. I always thought that the good readers of the Irish Farmers Journal liked a rumour, but going through the statistics of the last year has given me a right pain in the Ken Ring.

From the weather to the world's biggest farms to a ram selling for £160,000, it turns out if I want to catch your attention, I need to be talking about the rain or - better still - following the money.

Anyway, here are your top 20. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch the weather forecast and study the rich list.
