Eligible applicants

So far, 122,828 farmers have been paid under the Basic Payment Scheme for 2017, which represents over 99% of eligible applicants.

However, there is still a significant number of GLAS payments overdue as the latest figures show that around 6,300 farmers have to be paid for 2017.

Organic farmers have also voiced their concerns recently over the lack of payments issued under the organic farming scheme (OFS), as a significant portion of farmers have yet to be paid for 2017.
