FTMTA Grass & Muck 2018 is located almost in the centre of Ireland, at Gurteen Agricultural College, in Ballingarry, Roscrea, Co Tipperary. The college lies between Birr and Borrisokane, just off the N52.
The road network in the area is very good and there is ample access the car parks next to the site. More than 40 acres has been put aside for visitor parking. The entry charge will be €20 per person. No cars will be allowed to park on the public roads and the N52 will be a tow-away zone.
Those travelling from Limerick, Cork and Kerry should take the N7 to Nenagh and then take the N52 through Nenagh to Borrisokane. Turn right in Borrisokane taking the N52 signposted for Birr and follow through Ballingarry for a further 5km, where the site will be signposted.
If you are travelling from the north, take the N52 from Tullamore to Birr, following the N52 through Birr and continuing on this road signposted for Nenagh just after the County Arms Hotel. Follow the signs for Nenagh through the village of Carrig and after 5km, the site will be signposted.
Those coming from the northwest are advised to go through Athlone, from where you need to take the N62 to Birr. When in Birr again, follow through the N52 through Birr and continue on this road signposted for Nenagh just after the County Arms Hotel. Follow the signs for Nenagh through the village of Carrig and after 5km, the site will be signposted.
Those coming from the west will cross the Shannon at Potumna and should follow the N65 to Borrisokane. On entering Borrisokane, take the left turn for Birr on the N52. After driving through Ballingarry, you will find the site after about 5km from where it will be well signposted.
Traffic from Dublin is advised to take the N7 to Roscrea and follow the N62 to Birr. Take the left turn at the first roundabout in Birr, following the signs for Nenagh on the N52. Then follow through Riverstown and Carrig and after 5km the site will be well signposted.
