Bakery chain bb’s is once again launching a special-edition “In The Pink” muffin, in support of the Marie Keating Foundation. This delicious recipe of raspberry and white chocolate, was developed by their craft bakers and will be baked in every store fresh each morning through October, Breast Cancer Awareness month.

bb’s will donate 25c to the foundation for every muffin sold, which will help with their fight against breast cancer.

Each year around 3,200 women in Ireland are diagnosed with the disease and, thanks to early detection and advances in treatment, more women are now surviving.

“Almost all of us know someone who is affected by breast cancer, whether it’s our mother, our sister, our daughter or a friend,” said Ronan Keating, son of the late Marie Keating, at the launch of the “In The Pink” muffin.

“Having a raspberry and white chocolate muffin is a great way to give yourself an occasional treat while also helping the Marie Keating Foundation in our fight against this disease. There are bb’s bakers and baristas stores all around the country, so please drop by and join the fight against cancer this October.”
