The annual pilgrimage to the top of Croagh Patrick took place on Sunday last, with The Dealer taking on the Mayo summit.

Thousands upon thousands of hardy souls went up the holy rock, which is known as Reek Sunday. There was more than a small share of farming clothing on display, from Irish Farmers Journal, cattle breed societies and a heavy splattering of machinery dealers’ jackets.

The Dealer gives a special shout out to three young men rigged out in UCD Ag Soc jackets who did the pilgrimage barefoot.

Their jackets were sponsored by Progressive Genetics. You’d need progressive genetics for climbing the reek without shoes, for sure.
