There’s new blood at the top of the world’s largest meatpacker, The Dealer sees.

Wesley Batista Filho, 34, is to take over as global head of JBS, the Brazilian-based global food conglomerate. Batista Filho is currently head of JBS’s US division. He is son of the former company CEO, Wesley Batista, and grandson of its founder José Batista Sobrinho.

He will take over from Gilberto Tomazoni, who has headed up the company since 2018.
