One of the more popular stands on day three of Balmoral Show was Lovol’s tractors and loaders.

The Chinese-manufactured machines turned heads with their highly competitive prices and neat-looking interior and exteriors.

Based in Co Antrim, the brand is growing rapidly in popularity. It has a wide range of tractors and loaders available to serve all markets, from small machines suitable for golf courses all the way up to higher-powered tractors and front loaders.

The Lovol P4 series tractor, which is suitable for all standard farming setups, works off 110hp and is advertised at £42,500 (€48,875) excluding VAT. The tractor has a four-cylinder Weichai engine and a front loader can be added for £4,000.

Next level

The next level up from the P4 is the Lovol P5 series. Working at 130hp with the capacity to boost to 150hp, the tractor is on sale for £53,995 (€62,094) excluding VAT.

Smaller models of Lovol’s such as the M254 - a 25hp tractor suitable for lighter yard work - was available for £12,995 (€14,944) excluding VAT. The brand also has 50hp and 75hp tractors in stock.

In terms of loaders, the FL918 was the star of the show. At £53,995 (€62,094) excluding VAT, the machine is said to be highly flexible and versatile. The loader is equipped with a Kubota engine and has an operating weight of 6,650kg.

Lovol will also be bringing the first of its telescopic loaders to Ireland in September of this year.
