On Friday night, showers will become confined to Atlantic coastal parts of Munster and Connacht.
It is forecast to be mainly dry elsewhere, with clear spells and some mist or fog patches. Lowest temperatures will range between 5°C and 9°C.
Saturday morning will start off with sunny spells. However, Met Éireann has said that scattered showers will develop towards noon.
They'll become heavier in the afternoon, especially over the midlands and eastern half of the country, with some possibly thundery.
Highest temperatures of 13°C to 17°C, with light to moderate north to northwest breezes.
