A block of arable grade land that extends to 120ac has come on the market for sale near Eglinton, Co Derry.
The sale is being managed by real estate firm Savills and the whole property has a guide price of £1.5m (€1.74m), which equates to £12,500/ac (€14,472/ac).
The property is located along the Craigbrack Road. It is one mile from the village of Eglinton and seven miles from Derry City.
The land is currently in temporary grass, although the auctioneers point out that arable crops have been grown recently, including winter wheat, spring barley and potatoes.
Soils are described by Savills as “free-draining and fertile” and they highlight that the property is accessible with multiple entry points.
For sale by private treaty, it can be sold in two lots. A parcel of 36 ac to the north of the Craigbrack Road is guided at £450,000 (€520,526).
The second lot is 84ac on the opposite side of the road. This has a guide price of £1.05m (€1.21m).
