Ifac announced that Róisín Hennerty has been appointed to the firm’s board as an independent non-executive director.

Hennerty retired from her position as managing director of Ornua’s Global Foods Division last year after a career where she oversaw a portfolio of brands sold in over 100 countries.

Brendan Lawlor, ifac chair said: “Róisín’s extensive experience, particularly in developing successful strategies within the agribusiness sector, is a tremendous asset to the board of ifac, and we are excited to have her expertise and insights.”

Hennerty said: “I am delighted to be joining the board of ifac and to bring my business experience to add to its ongoing success…I look forward to assisting the firm with its continuing growth and delivery of expert advice and guidance to its farming, food, agri-business and SME clients.”

Ifac recently announced a significant growth plan for the next three years which includes the creation of 400 new positions at the firm.
