The good work being done by farmers in relation to sustainability on their farms will be highlighted at this year's FBD National Livestock Show at the Tullamore Show in the sustainability village.

The Sustainable Livestock Village has launched a photo competition in partnership with the Irish Farmers Journal.

The competition is open until 5pm on Saturday 2 August

All of the entries will be profiled on the Irish Farmers Journal website and will also be printed on a large photo wall which will be on display in the FBD National livestock show sustainability village. The winners chosen at the show in Tullamore on Sunday 10 August.

Tullamore Show’s Michael Dolan said: “We want to highlight some of the good sustainability actions that are happening on farms across the country and showcase those actions in Tullamore on Sunday 10 August.”

A €1,000 prize fund is up for grabs, along with free tickets to the event.
