In the second year of the CellCheck awards, 13 farms were named as the individual winners for their co-op.
The Animal Health Ireland (AHI) CellCheck awards and the winners attended the ceremony in the Lyrath Estate, Co Kilkenny.
The awards ranked 500 farmers on their SCC performance for 2015. The list is derived from Department of Agriculture information of milk quality which is supplied to dairy processors.
Each of the 500 winners were awarded a plaque to recognise their achievement. It is hoped that the 500 winners will hang the plaque in their parlour.
The awards were sponsored by the Irish Farmers Journal, Ornua, FBD and Animal Health Ireland.
