The Global Dairy Trade price index was down 0.6% at Tuesday's trading event to an average price of €3,453/t.
The biggest increase was in anhydrous milk fat, with a price index increase of 5.3% or €5,726/t.
Lactose was up 4.6%, with an average price €1,381/t.
Butter milk powder was up 3% to an average price of €3,072/t.
Increases were also seen in butter, up 1.2% to €4,924/t, and cheddar, up 1.8% to €3,968/t.
Fall in prices
Mozzarella saw the greatest drop and was down 4.6% to €3,385/t, while skim milk powder was down 3% on the price index to €2,969/t. Whole milk powder was also down 2.2% to €3,182/t.
