Beginning with the plough, Kverneland will be promoting the new patented Knock-on Point. This system consists of two parts – a holder fixed to a regular Kverneland share and a knock-on point requiring very little time and effort to change, according to Kverneland. The other benefits according to the manufacturer are the point will have 15% more wear before changing compared to a standard Kverneland point. The system can be used on Kverneland ploughs and cultivators.

On the cultivation side, the highlight will be the Qualidisc disc harrow fitted with an A-Drill seed distributor, which is available in either mounted or trailed models from 3m to 7m. Some of the features include robust disc arms, maintenance-free high-capacity bearings and large heat-treated conical discs. In order to maintain cutting quality, the Qualidisc is fitted with lateral disc adjustment, which allows the gangs to be positioned correctly as the disc diameter reduces according to Kverneland. Hydraulic depth adjustment comes as standard on the Pro version and penetration can be increased on the move from the tractor cab. The A-Drill integrated seeder allows for cultivating and seeding in one pass and is suited for all types of seeds from oilseed rape to grass, claims Kverneland

At the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show the new CX-11 double entry coulter will be fitted to an I-Drill Pro seed drill in combination with a DF-1 Front Hopper. The front hopper carries and meters the fertilizer while the rear tank is used to carry seed. This, according to Kverneland, allows for a larger seed and fertilizer carrying capacity compared with combined rear tank units, while also providing a more evenly balanced weight distribution and low lift requirement.
