Maeve and Ciara's great-grandmother was a really great cook. She lived with their mommy and would bake lots of yummy treats for their mummy and uncles to eat when they got home from school each day - one of their favourite treats were snickerdoodles!
Snickerdoodles are a type of sugar cookie that is rolled into a ball and then rolled in cinnamon and sugar before being baked. The sugar and cinnamon on the outside get nice and crunchy and add a lovely flavour to the otherwise plain cookie.
We've had a great run with our Kids in the Kitchen series and we want to thank everyone who has reached out to us to share what they've been cooking during lockdown.
There's lots to look forward to: a nice summer holiday and a new year at school in September, with any luck! Stay safe and have lots of fun. While the series is finished, we'd still love to see any of your cooking videos! You can WhatsApp them to 089-249 9922. Happy cooking!
