In the latest instalment of our Kids in the Kitchen video series, Dia McKeever makes her auntie Sarah’s chocolate cheesecake.
Any variety of chocolate can be used - Toblerone is auntie Sarah’s speciality, but Dia used Malteasers sweets and biscuits to keep lots of fluffy air in her cake.

With a sweet tooth, encouraged by doting grandparents, five-year-old Dia McKeever does not shy away from the challenge of creating a sugary masterpiece for her granddad Pat’s 71st birthday.
Crushing up the biscuits is a highlight, but watching the video progress, we think that sampling the mixture may also be a strong contender for her favourite bit of the process.
If you have a budding baker in your house and you and your child would like to share what they're cooking up while they're home, we'd love to see or hear about it. Send your videos to ICL@farmersjournal.ie.

Auntie Sarah’s recipe says to “serve with a smile.” If they were not smiling when handed this, they will be smiling once they taste it.
