This year’s The Future of Farming Expo on 15 February in Cillín Hill, Kilkenny, looks set to be the biggest yet.

Leonard Hovenden, marketing manager with Kverneland Ireland, said the company is seeing a lot of benefit from this indoor event dedicated to all the machines it imports.

“People immediately associate Kverneland with the market-leading plough but we are so much more than that. We plan to have in excess of 60 machines in one place.

“We will launch new mowers, rakes, tedders and other grass equipment at the event.

“There will also be a focus on efficient farming and GPS integration into most Kverneland implements. After a very successful year demonstrating the non-stop Fastbale round baler, this year it is available for sale.

“Outside of the Kverneland range, the new McConnel Agribuggy will also be on display along with a range of hedge-cutters for both farmers and contractors. We will also have a number of Siloking diet feeders. The event, which is now running for a number of years, gives us a lot more space in a comfortable environment to talk with customers, which they appreciate.”
