Michael Doyle Auctions is set to host a clearance retirement auction on behalf of John Brophy on Friday 18 October.
The auction is set to take place at Tankardstown, Tullow, Co Carlow (R93 K519), and will be kicking off at 1.30pm.
It’s believed that the majority of the lots were owned from new on-farm, although a number of outside entries have been entered.

The lots on offer include a selection of tractors, farm machinery, tools, plant and livestock equipment. The sale will start indoors, with the smaller lots first.

The tractors up for grabs include a 2011 Massey Ferguson 5455 with 5,000 hours, an MF 5613 with a Quicke front-end loader with 2,000 hours, a 2005 John Deere 6820, a New Holland TS115, a Ford 4610, a Ford TW 15, a 4WD Ford 7610 with a Quicke front-end loader and a 2WD 1988 Ford 7610 with a Tanco front-end loader with 5,500 hours on the clock.

A 1987 Case International 1394 and a 1983 Case David Brown 1290 will also be up for grabs.

Some of the stand-out farm machinery lots include a 2015 Pottinger Faro 5010 forage wagon, a 2015 Pottinger Novacat rear-mounted conditioner mower and a selection of low loaders and dump trailers.

Other farm machinery lots in the auction include mowers, rakes, slurry tankers, a plough, shear grabs, straw blowers and livestock trailers.
