Krone has added new technology to its Swadro TC 1250 Pro to make the four-rotor centre-delivery rake easier to use. New features include load-sensing hydraulics, Isobus control and other smart functions that improve comfort and efficiency.
The Swadro TC 1250 Pro joins the existing Swadro TC 1250 and Swadro TC 1250 Plus models in Krone’s 12.5-metre rake range. It says that while all three models are easy to operate, the Pro version offers extra automation to make every day work simpler.
With load-sensing hydraulics and Isobus control as standard, it can automate many tasks, to help improve productivity.
The working width can be adjusted continuously from 9.8 to 12.5 metres.
It features the proven EasyLine drive system, where the front rotors run slightly faster than the rear rotors, which Krone says helps to spread the crop. The new model includes Krone’s hydraulic rotor relief system. This feature is used on the larger models, and Krone says it allows the rotors to follow the ground more accurately, reducing pressure on the grass and helping to produce cleaner forage.
A built-in vibration damper reduces movement when the rotors are lifted, making the rake more stable. The soft-down system gently lowers the rotors back onto the ground after turning at the headland.
Smart automation
The rear rotors can automatically lift after the front rotors, with the delay adjusted by either time or distance to suit different field conditions.
If the operator reverses while the rotors are still on the ground, they will automatically lift to protect the machine. An optional section control system automatically raises and lowers the rotors.
Like the TC 1250 Plus, the Pro model includes electric rotor height adjustment.
Operators can save two preset working heights for quick changes, while rotor can also be adjusted individually or all together from the terminal.
