McHale Plant Sales is set to return to this year’s National Ploughing Championships. The Irish Komatsu and Prinoth distributor will showcase a range of exhibits suiting customers from the agricultural, construction and forestry sectors. Set to make its Irish debut at the event is the new Komatsu five-tonne CK50 tracked skidsteer and the four-tonne SK40 wheeled skidsteer and the Terex Fuchs range of grab-and-lift materials handling equipment.

Komatsu

Komatsu models on show will be based on its agri-specified WA170M-11 wheel loader. This is the smaller stablemate of the WA380 and WA320 wheel loaders which have proven well in the contractor market. This model is aimed at the larger farm for feeding and harvesting applications.

On the excavator front, making its reappearance to the market after over a decade-long absence will be the conventional 13-tonne PC130-11, alongside the PC220LCI.

Other Komatsu models on show and making their Irish debut will be the four-tonne CK50 tracked skid steer and four-tonne SK40 wheeled skid steer units, coupled with a selection from the rockbreaker range and trailer-size micro-to-mini diggers.

Fuchs

The latest equipment line being distributed by McHale Plant Sales, both in the Republic and Northern Ireland, is the Terex Fuchs range of grab-and-lift materials handling equipment, one of which is earmarked for display at the Ploughing. Present will be the MHL434, a specialised heavy-duty wheeled material handler designed primarily for timber handling, forestry and sawmill operations.

Reflecting McHale Plant Sales’ increasing involvement in forestry and timber harvesting will be a machine from the Komatsu forest range – the compact 14-tonne 855 Forwarder.

Prinoth

From the Prinoth range, McHale will be showcasing the latest range of excavator mulchers to suit everything from 15-tonne excavators down to the M300e-570, designed for the mini 2- to 3-tonne excavator class.
