French front loader specialists MX showcased a new automatic lubrication system for its larger TX400 loader models at Agritechnica.

The new auto-grease system is now available on the manufacturer's flagship TX400 front loader range, designed for tractors from 170 to 320hp.

However, the system is expected to be a factory option across several of its loader ranges in due course. Meanwhile, according to MX, the system can be bought separately and easily retrofitted.

It is mounted on the side of the boom and uses a screw-in grease cartridge.

Requiring no electrics, the auto-greaser can supply grease to up to 20 points. It is powered via the loader’s hydraulics so only sends out a shot of grease to the pins as required.

A new O-ring at the end of each pivot pin is supposed to reduce play and noise.

Other updates to its loader ranges include the fitment of protected forward-facing grease nipples on either side of loader pins in addition to the existing grease nipple positioned in the centre of the pin itself. A rubber O-ring is also now placed at the end of each pivot pin, to help reduce play/noise between pins.
