It would appear that a new export and logistics company has set up operations in the yard previously leased by livestock exporters TLT International (in receivership). It is reported that activity has been noticed in the yard in recent times.

Meanwhile, just four months after TLT was put into receivership, documents were filed with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) on 3 February 2014 for a new company at the same address.

The company, which is called Anglo East, is headquartered at Kilmaglish, Knockdrin, Mullingar in Co Westmeath.

The authorised person for the company is listed as Samantha Ennis.

Samantha’s address is listed as Fairfield Farm, Cricklade, Swindon in England. Fairfield Farm in Cricklade is where the company TLT (UK) Ltd (now dissolved) was headquartered.

TLT entered receivership in November of last year with debts of nearly €8m.

Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture has received an application from a company in the midlands for a livestock export licence.

The Department would not confirm who exactly had applied for the licence or when a decision would be made.
