The legend that is Nuala retired this year after 42 years of service.
I’m reliably informed that a group – as many as seven or eight – were interviewed this week. This is the final shortlist and it is made up of youth and experience.
What is interesting is that the new chief is likely to have a different role to Nuala. She very much worked alongside the committee but it looks as though the new supremo will be answerable to the committee rather than working alongside it.
