The West Cork Vintage Ploughing and Threshing Association is marking 50 years of the Ford 600 series on 12 July at its vintage harvest day in Ballinascarthy, Co Cork. It is calling on Ford 600 series enthusiasts to bring their tractors to the event where Henry Ford’s father emigrated from in the 1800s.
Olympic hammer thrower Nicola Tuthill will open proceedings, which includes a family fun day.
This year’s beneficiaries are Cairde Clonakilty Community Hospital, the Jack and Jill Foundation, Horizons Cork and the Autism Support Class of Darrara national school.
