Of the 8,000 farmers selected for land eligibility inspections, almost one in five are still awaiting payment.
To date, 90% of inspections have been completed. Of those inspections completed, 92% have moved to the payment processing stage.
This leaves 1,376 farmers unpaid (18% of those selected for inspection) as of 19 November, according to analysis of Department of Agriculture figures by the Irish Farmers Journal.

Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed said the final outcomes of ground and satellite inspections continued to be finalised on a daily basis.
In response to a parliamentary question from Fianna Fáil’s Eugene Murphy, the Minister said BPS and ANC payments were being issued as quickly as possible.
