China – dairy imports increase

China’s dairy imports increased in September by 3.9%, an additional 39m kg (37.8m litres) in liquid milk equivalents, a badly needed boost for global dairy markets (DCA).

UK – antibiotic use in pigs

For the second year in a row, there was a slight increase in antibiotic use in the UK pig herd, but it is still almost 18% lower than in 2020 and 69% lower than in 2015 (AHDB).
