Royal A-Ware has announced that it will join with Spanish cheese processor Grupo TGT, a family-owned business that has been established for over 50 years.

Thailand – rice exports down

USDA reports that Thailand exported 2.3m tonnes of rice in June, which was 23.7% lower than in June 2025.

Uruguay – sheep slaughter lower

During the first half of 2026, 208,533 sheep were processed in Uruguay, 91,000 fewer than in the same period last year, a decline of 30% (WBR).

United States – import tariff call

The US Cattlemen’s Association has called for a 25% tariff to be imposed on all US imports of Brazilian bovine products.
