This all-rounder meets EU Stage V emissions thanks to an improved exhaust after-treatment package that contributes to a lower cost of ownership.
Across the line-up are two short-wheelbase models, delivering the ultimate in farmyard manoeuvrability and three conventional wheelbase models boasting greater stability for tasks where more power is required..
55-degree steering angle

All M6-001 Utility models get Kubota’s portal front axle with bevel gear drive, boosting ground clearance and creating a 55-degree steering angle – importantly, there’s no drive shafts and universal joints to grease here, thanks to a fully-sealed assembly.
Short wheelbase models include the M6-101U and M6-111U, and both use a 3.8-litre Kubota V3800 four-cylinder turbocharged engine. Maximum power outputs are 104hp and 111hp, with maximum torque figures of 346Nm and 379Nm respectively. These two models weigh 4.3 tonnes, and are seated on a 2.54m wheelbase, for superb agility in confined spaces.
The longer wheelbase M6-121U, M6-131U and M6-141U use Kubota’s 6.1-litre V6108 four-cylinder engine. Power outputs are 123hp, 133hp and 143hp, with maximum torque figures of 503Nm, 544Nm and 586Nm, respectively. These three larger models weigh 4.8 tonnes, and are seated on a longer 2.68m wheelbase.

Low cost of ownership
Developments in engine technology on all models has been instrumental in delivering an improvement in exhaust after-treatment. Using DOC and DPF technology with enhanced performance delivers greater operational flexibility and lower cost of ownership.
DPF regeneration can now be achieved at a much lower engine speed – typically 1,200rpm, reduced from 2,000rpm - and using a much lower working temperature of just 50 degrees C. The latter makes regeneration much easier to achieve with light engine loads, along with lower noise levels and a reduced fuel burn.
The DPF cleaning interval for the M6-001 Utility range is now 8,000 hours for the 6.1-litre engine, and up to 6,000 hours for the 3.8-litre engine, again contributing to lower operating costs. Engine oil change intervals are every 500 hours on all models.

Auto-shifting transmission
All five models benefit from a 40kph, semi-powershift transmission, with eight powershifts in three ranges in a 24x24 gearbox. The option of a creeper range increases the choice of ratios to 32x32. Transmission functionality includes auto-shifting in each range, while a sensitivity dial enables operators to fine-tune the responsiveness of gear changes to suit load on the tractor.

Operator comfort
Operator comfort is provided by an air suspension seat and the option of front axle suspension. A wide sunroof offers generous visibility for those looking to add an LK loader to the M6001 Utility tractor. Cab space is generous too, as the frame is shared with the larger M7004 series.
A cat III rear linkage with electronic linkage control offers a 5t lift capacity on short wheelbase models, and 6.1t for long-wheelbase tractors. PTO equipment includes 540/1000 speeds as standard, with a 540 Eco option available. All M6001 Utility models can be equipped with an optional front linkage with 2.6t lift capacity, and a 1,000rpm front pto, plus the ability to run pto-equipment while stationary.

Manufacturer warranty
All M6001 Utility tractors, like the entire M-series range, are covered by a range of Kubota Care warranty packages that extend to five years and 5,000 hours of cover.
Kubota Care is an extended warranty scheme that is backed by Kubota, and is not a third-party insurance policy. As such, Kubota Care does not require customers to pay an excess for any warranty claims that may arise.
In addition, any unused Kubota Care warranty is also transferrable with the tractor when supported by a full-service history from the Kubota dealer network. Such flexibility increases saleability and can contribute to a higher residual value, helping to make this one of the best warranty packages in the industry.
