Camsaw Distributors Ltd was set up in 1987 by Philip Carney. As well as establishing itself as the official Irish agent of Oleo-Mac and Weibang machinery, Camsaw is a leading distributor of garden machinery and equipment in Ireland.
Sales director Paul Carney has since taken up his father’s position in the family-run business.
“Our family business has grown from strength to strength in recent years. We have expanded our company from six people in 2014 to eight people this year across our sales, services, warehousing and office departments.
“Our central location is in Unit 6, Portarlington Business Park, Co Laois. Our customer network has expanded nationally as we’re importing and distributing an increasing number of products from our Italian brand Oleo-Mac and our Chinese brand Weibang. We pride ourselves on our customer service and providing customers with good-quality products at competitive prices. This is what sets us apart,” says Paul.
“Our newest launch of Weibang lawnmowers is a continued product from our 2010 range. This mower continues on as a three-in-one machine, in that it collects, mulches and ejects the grass outside of the mower.
“Our high-end machines cater for all ranges of people, from entry-level users to professionals. We provide a variety of engines, from Briggs and Stratton to Kohler, Kawasaki and Honda. Our price range for entry-level users of walk-behind mowers starts at €300, for middle of the road users it’s €600 and for professional tractor mowers prices start at €12,000. Each lawnmower also comes with a two-year warranty. Weibang’s motto is ‘built to last’, and this is exactly what our products do,” adds Paul.
Camsaw’s brands
Oleo-Mac is another leading garden machine brand. The machines are designed to be simple to use and easy to maintain – something that’s important to Camsaw’s customers.
Maintenance Tips
“After buying a lawnmower from our new Weibang range, it is important to keep it in good condition. Our decks are now powder-coated, which means they last longer outside. Our steel decks have a three-year guarantee and our aluminium decks have a 10-year guarantee,” explains Paul.
