After making a strong inroad within the Irish telehandler market in recent years, the Italian loader manufacturer returns to the National Ploughing Championships in an official capacity for the third consecutive year.

Supported by its network of Irish dealers, Merlo will showcase a machine to suit the needs of everyone, from livestock to tillage farmers, as well as the contracting and construction sector. In terms of agricultural models, the manufacturer will exhibit its compact TF30.7 CS (3,000kg, 7m) and TF33.7 (3,300kg, 7m) models alongside the larger chassis TF42.7 (4,200kg, 7m) model.

The latest plug-in hybrid version of the Roto 50.26 will be on display at the Ploughing for the first time.

On the construction side, a P27.6 Plus (2,700kg, 6m) compact telehandler, a P40.14 Plus (4,000kg, 13m) stabilised telehandler. Arguably, set to draw the most attention from a size and capacity point of view will be the Roto 50.26 Hybrid rotating telehandler, offering a 5,000kg lift capacity and 26m lift height. Being a hybrid model, the diesel combustion engine is accompanied by a plug-in electric drive system. Merlo is also running a promotion, so customers who order and take delivery of a new Merlo agricultural telehandler by 30 September will get an extended warranty package at no additional cost.
