Isuzu UK showcased its new D-Max pickup range at Cereals 2026, featuring a Euro 6-compliant 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine which replaces the outgoing 1.9-litre unit.

Producing 163hp and 400Nm of torque, the new engine delivers 10% more torque overall and 60% more at 1,000rpm, improving low-speed pulling performance and trailer take-offs.

The engine can be paired with a new eight-speed automatic transmission, replacing the previous six-speed unit. Payload and towing capacities remain at 1t and 3.5t respectively.

The D-Max also features a redesigned front end, including a new grille, front and rear lights, and a new Urban Moss metallic paint option for the range-topping V-Cross model.

Updates across the range include a 360° Surround View Camera, revised alloy wheels and side steps, plus new cloth and leather seat designs depending on spec.
