Bobcat is entering the European wheel loader market for compact wheel loaders and small articulated loaders.
Currently, Bobcat’s European lineup is based on skid-steers, compact track loaders, mini-track loaders and telescopic Loaders. Now, Bobcat is extending the range with compact wheel loaders and small articulated loaders.
Bobcat is entering the wheel loader market with two models: the L65 and L85. Designed and built at Bobcat’s base in the Czech Republic, the L65 and L85 weigh in at 4.5t and 4.8t respectively. The L65 has a 55hp engine with a 2.6t tipping load capacity. Meanwhile, the 68hp L85 features a 3.1t load tipping capacity. Both have a maximum travel speed of 30km/h.
Bobcat is also entering the small articulated loader segment with two models: the L23 and L28. Both are designed and built by the company in North Dakota, USA. Weighing in at 1.7t, the smaller 25hp L23 has a tipping load capacity of 1.3t. The larger 1.9t L28 is also powered by the same 25hp engine, but has a slightly larger 1.4t tipping load capacity. Both models have a maximum forward speed of 13km/h.
Bobcat’s Irish importer Adare Machinery has confirmed units from both ranges will be in Ireland for quarter two of next year.
