Kioti Europe BV, the European headquarters of South Korea’s Daedong Corporation, has officially opened its new office in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The new facility features more than 500m² and represents a major milestone in Kioti’s continued expansion across Europe.

The Daedong Corporation is a manufacturer of agricultural, utility, compact and sub-compact tractors, UTVs, ZTRs and robotics.

Kioti are imported into Ireland by PJ Callan Ltd in Ardee, Co Louth.

During the event, president and CEO of Daedong Kioti Europe Chiwhan Yoon highlighted the strategic importance of the new office as a cornerstone for Kioti Europe’s future growth in the region.

Potential

Reflecting on Kioti Europe’s recent achievements - including surpassing a 2% market share for the first time - Mr Yoon said, “However, we are never satisfied with our current successes.

"As we look to the future, we see tremendous potential and today’s new office expansion of more than 500m² is one of the key foundations for our future growth in Europe,” he stated.

Mr Yoon added: “Building on this momentum, we’re determined to become a top five tractor brand with more than 6% market share by 2030.

"I’m highly confident, as we have been preparing every detail of how to achieve it in all aspects. I strongly believe the European team in this new office will make it happen.”

From its new location, along with its recently announced new warehouse facility in Venlo, the Netherlands, Kioti Europe has said it aims to enhance supply chain efficiency, strengthen distributor, dealer and customer relationships, plus support the launch of next-generation products designed to meet European environmental and performance standards.
