Japanese manufacturer Kioti presented its new HX1403 tractor on its stand at Agritechnica, equipped with an autonomous driving package.
The entirely in-house built tractor features a 3.8l four-cylinder Daedong engine, which provides 140hp and 640Nm of torque.
This is equipped with a 32x32 eight-speed powershift transmission, also built by Daedong, and features a hydraulic power shuttle. It also includes a brake-to-clutch function.
Hydraulics
In terms of hydraulics, Kioti has fitted the HX1403 model with a load-sensing hydraulic pump capable of 119l/min, which supplies three mechanical spool valves and one electric.
In terms of dimension and capacities, the HX1403 has a 2.6m wheelbase and an unladen weight of just over 4.9t. Operating weight maxes out at 7.9t.
The standard tractor (non-autonomous) comes with Kioti’s telematic system.

Also, on display was Kioti’s first skid-steer model, the SL 750. It features a 70.5hp engine and a 2.4t tipping load.
