Krone has broadened its range of mowing solutions with the new auger conveyor option for its EasyCut R 360 side-mounted mower. With a working width of 3.6m, the plain non-conditioner R 360 Collect now offers the option of swath grouping via an auger conveyor.

Adopting its know-how from the Big M, the auger measures 450mm in diameter and is operated under a closed, hydraulically adjustable hood which is directly controlled from the cab, enabling the driver to switch from wide spreading to swathing and vice versa.

The mower features all Krone’s proven features including the EasyCut cutterbar with SafeCut and SmartCut protection systems. The auger conveyor option brings the mower’s total weight to 1,700kg.

Groupers for 12.5m butterflies

Krone has also introduced a new Collect option for its new EasyCut B 1250 CV Fold butterfly combination. The unit offers a variable working width from 11.4m to 12.5m and is equipped with a conditioner and as of now, cross conveyor belts to merge swaths.

Both belts are individually controlled, for which the speed can be continuously adjusted to suit the crop and working conditions. The belts measure 910mm wide and feature lateral swath flap extensions for flexible and fast switchovers between wide spreading and grouping.

Using the telescopic outrigger arms and sliding gearbox, both mower beds can be extended telescopically by up to 60cm with a hydraulic side shift conveniently operated from the cabin.

The EasyCut cutterbar features a patented folding mechanism that uses a hydraulic slewing gear to fold the outside cutting discs of the mower units into and out of working position.
