A fundraiser is to be held in Kildare on 30 September in aid of the Ireland sheep shearing team heading to compete in the world championships.

The proceeds of the Castledermot 12th annual threshing and vintage working day will go to the team, as they prepare for the competition in Le Dorat in France in July 2019. Admission is €5 for adults and kids go free.
