Continuing very mild today and cloudy with outbreaks of rain, according to Met Éireann. The rain will be mostly light, with good dry periods as well, but later in the day, a pulse of heavy rain looks set to spread into southern parts. Highest temperatures of 13°C to 15°C in fresh southerly winds.

A spell of persistent and heavy rain will spread northeastwards over the country on Wednesday night and clearing towards morning. Staying rather mild, with lowest temperatures around 9°C to 11°C.
