Farmers in Zone A (Carlow Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Waterford and Tipperary) can begin spreading slurry and fertiliser from 13 January next week.
Farmers in Zone B (Longford, Louth, Meath, Westmeath Limerick, Kerry, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo) can begin spreading from 16 January.
Farmers in Zone C (Donegal, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan) and Northern Ireland will have to wait until 1 February to begin spreading.
All chemical fertilisers, slurry and farmyard manure can be spread from these dates.
