Bangladesh – digital certificates

Bangladesh has moved 119 certificates, licenses and permits related to trade to a digital platform, which will speed up the entry of goods through ports (USDA).

USA – transport to Mexico

USDA inspections of grain for export to Mexico shows that almost two thirds (63%) is transported by rail, 35% by boat and less than 1% by truck.

Namibia – poultry imports

US secretary of agriculture Brooke L Rollins announced that Namibia has agreed to commence imports of fresh, frozen and chilled poultry products from the US.

Uruguay – cattle slaughter

Up to 22 June, Uruguayan factories processed 1.216m head of cattle, a 5.2% increase on the same period last year (INAC).
