I see that the Irish non-profit organisation, Vets Without Borders, will hold its annual fundraiser on Saturday 12 September, and is looking for participants. This year’s fundraiser will begin at 10am at the Copper Coast in Co Waterford.

Bikers are asked to meet in Dungarvan Town Centre, with the option of a 100km cycle route or a 60km cycle route

Hikers will meet at the Nire Valley car park and hike 8.5km for the cause.

Over €340,000 has been raised over the past 18 years to help small-scale livestock farmers and their communities in the developing world through improving livestock husbandry, health and welfare.
