Met Éireann has issued a status yellow blight warning for the second half of this week. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain spreading from the west. The rain will turn persistent or heavy for a time, especially in Atlantic coastal counties, then misty with hill and coastal fog, especially in western and southern areas. Top temperatures will range from 17°C to 20°C in moderate to fresh southerly winds, which will be strong along south and southwest coasts.
