Met Éireann is forecasting light showers to develop over more northern counties on Wednesday with most of the country continuing to remain dry. There will be a good deal of cloud around during the day with the best of any sunshine occurring in the south and east of the country. Highest temperatures are forecast to be 1°C or 12°C in light breezes.
