When we first launched our Kids in the Kitchen series in March, lockdown had just begun and kids all over Ireland were getting stuck in; helping their families in the kitchen.
When Nell Fitzgerald's mummy sent in a video of Nell making these delicious fairy flutter cakes, it got misplaced in the flurry of entries, so we're sharing it now - just in time for some weekend baking with the kids.
Nell lives in Co Tipperary with her mum Laura, dad John, brothers Senan and Joe and little sister Moll.
She is excited to be celebrating her seventh birthday in two weeks so we want to send our very best birthday wishes from Irish Country Living.
Nell's parents are both really great cooks, so it's no surprise she's as comfortable in the kitchen as she is on camera.
You can still look back on our entire Kids in the Kitchen series and, if you have a budding chef in your home, we always love to see and share what Ireland's smallest chefs are up to. WhatsApp any recipes and videos to 089-249 9922.
